Miss Lillian Gray
Lillian Gray loves cherries almost as much as she loves her hometown, Traverse City.
This spring, she graduated from Western Michigan University with a BFA in acting and a minor
in Business. Lilli spent her time at WMU as an active member of the theatre program, both on
stage and off. She had the opportunity to perform every semester, but her favorite role was being
a part of an immersive adaptation of "The Great Gatsby". Off stage, she has cultivated
communication and leadership skills through directing. She is proud to have directed
independent student projects for both the stage and screen, and to have assistant directed WMU's
spring mainstage "Much Ado About Nothing".
Lilli's friends have often lovingly told her that she is "Michigan's biggest fan". And she
agrees. She has a deep love of the nature that northern Michigan has to offer. From the Sleeping
Bear Dunes lakeshore to the Old Mission Peninsula, she hopes to have the opportunity to
advocate for the beauty and health of this remarkable place she calls home. Lilli's love of the
world extends far beyond the borders of her own state. This past summer she studied abroad in a
traveling class, where she had the incredible opportunity to learn in London, Paris, and Rome.
Lilli learns the most from new experiences and places, which is why she's looking forward to her
next adventure, spending a ski season bumping chair lifts in Colorado.
Lillian is graciously sponsored by M22 Challenge.
