Rules & Regulations- Classic Car Show
Thank you for participating in the Classic Car Show at the National Cherry Festival. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized event for all participants and attendees, the following rules and regulations must be followed.
1. Vehicle Arrival & Registration
· Vehicle Arrival Time: 7:30 AM All participating vehicles must arrive no earlier than 7:30 AM unless otherwise directed by event staff.
· Registration Begins: 8:00 AM All participants must check in and complete registration beginning at 8:00 AM.
· Registration Fees:
o $15 – Pre-registration (advance payment required)
o $30 – Day-of-event registration
o Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by organizers.
2. Vehicle Placement & Safety
· A map of the venue will be provided prior to the event. You must enter on to Union St. from 6th St. in downtown Traverse City. Please look for volunteers to assist you with parking.
· Vehicles must remain on site for the entire duration of the event.
· No vehicles may leave early. Early departure creates a significant safety hazard due to pedestrian traffic and event layout.
· Vehicles may only exit once the event has officially concluded and staff indicate it is safe to do so.
· All vehicles must be moved promptly after the event concludes, as the road will reopen following the event.
*Failure to comply with vehicle movement rules may result in exclusion from future events.
3. Participant Responsibility
· Registrants and/or representatives must remain with their vehicle for the entirety of the event.
· Participants are responsible for the conduct of themselves and their guests.
· All vehicles must be displayed in a safe, clean, and presentable condition.
· Any unsafe behavior, excessive revving, reckless driving, or disorderly conduct may result in removal from the event.
4. Awards Ceremony
· Awards will take place from 1:00 PM – 1:15 PM.
· Participants must be present to receive awards.
· Award categories and judging criteria will be determined by event organizers.
5. General Event Policies
· Event staff and festival officials have full authority to enforce all rules.
· The event operates rain or shine unless otherwise announced by organizers.
· By registering, participants agree to abide by all National Cherry Festival policies and event guidelines.
