The National Cherry Festival is proud to announce the final concert of the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage lineup for its historic 100th celebration. On Saturday, July 11, award-winning rapper, actor, and multi-platinum artist Ludacris will take the stage, closing out a milestone year in unforgettable fashion.
Born Christopher Brian Bridges, Ludacris first broke into the music industry as a radio DJ in Atlanta before gaining early recognition through collaborations with leading producers in the late 1990s. He rose to mainstream success with his 2000 debut album Back for the First Time and quickly became one of hip-hop’s defining artists of the 2000s. With multiple chart-topping albums and seven Top 5 releases, Ludacris remains a standout figure in rap music.
Outside of music, Ludacris is also an accomplished actor and producer, best known for his role as Tej Parker in the Fast & Furious franchise. He also appeared in the ensemble film New Year’s Eve and is the creator and star of the Netflix animated series Karma’s World, expanding his reach as a multi-platform entertainer.
