People of all nations are invited to be our guests at the Kchi Wiikwedong Anishinaabek Pow Wow and Event Tent, celebrating the culture, language, and spirit of Grand Traverse's first people, Anishinaabek, that have shaped the region around us.
The event tent opens at 10am with arts and crafts, jewelry, cultural displays, and Native American food vendors.
The Pow Wow begins with Grand Entry at 11am in the arena. Experience traditional dance, drum, singing, and crowning of the Wiigwaasmin royalty, a unique pagaent created over a decade ago to uplift and support Native American youth living in the way of their ancestors.
