2020 Concert Questions

I purchased a Bay Side Music Pass, will I get a refund?

We are rolling your Bay Side Music Pass to 2021, so you will not receive a refund. However, we will send you out updated Bay Side Music Passes with the 2021 dates later this year.

I purchased tickets to REO Speedwagon and/or Collective Soul & Everclear, will I get a refund?


Yes. Due to the large amount of refunds we will have to process while working from home, it may take some time to refund your tickets.We do, however, except that all refunds will be issued by May 31st. The full ticket price, including fees, will be returned.

Once my refund is issued, how long will it take for me to receive it?


This will vary based on your credit/debit card company, but you can expect the refund to appear in your account within seven business days after you receive notification that the refund has been issued.

The credit/debit card I used to purchase tickets is no longer active, what do I do?


This will vary considerably based on the original card issuer, but if you still have an account with the credit/debit card issuer you used to purchase your tickets with, the refund should automatically flow into that account. If not, the issuer has a legal obligation to receive and hold your funds. You will need to contact them and work with them to get your refund. If you experience trouble in this process, please reach out to us at info@cherryfestival.org and we will do all we can to assist you.

What if I paid by cash?

We will issue you a check. Checks will be mailed by May 31 st.

What do I do if I haven’t received my refund by May 31, 2020?

I'd like to donate to support the National Cherry Festival, how can I do that?

You can donate by clicking here. All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501c3. Thank you for ensuring additional years of cherry celebrations and community giving.

2020 Meijer Festival of Races

Will my race registration be refunded?

***Updated information 5/19/2020*** The Festival of Races team can’t thank you enough for your patience as we have worked to reschedule the Meijer Festival of Races presented by Cherry Bay Orchards.Tentatively, we have rescheduled the race for Sunday, September 13, 2020.While we are sure this date will work for our community, we are awaiting the final approval from Peninsula Township and City of Traverse City. With this in mind, we are offering several options for your registration.To select an option, please log into your RunSignUp Account and choose which option works best for you.

Here are the options for your registration:

  • Stay in the race and race on the tentative date of Sunday, September 13, 2020
  • Defer your race registration until the Meijer Festival of Races presented by Cherry Bay Orchards occurs next year on July 10, 2021
  • Donate your race registration. During this time, we’d appreciate your consideration for donating your race registration. All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501c3.
  • Refund your registration. We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone, so if you’d like your registration refunded, please select this option once you log in RunSignUp.

All decisions will need to be in by May 31st. We will process all needed transactions (deferments, refunds, donations) by June 6th. If nothing is selected, you will stay in the race on the new date. Please log in to your RunSignUp account at your earliest convenience and select your option.

Air Show Gift Certificates

I have a gift certificate for VIP Air Show Tickets for 2020. Can I redeem these tickets for a future year?

Yes.You can redeem your gift certificate for the 2020 Air Show for any future year. Please present the certificate in May of the year you would like your VIP Tickets to claim them.

Craft Show Vendor

I am a vendor in the 2020 National Cherry Festival Craft Show, what now?

The National Cherry Festival Art Fair is cancelled for 2020. If you have additional questions please email art@downtowntc.com.

Other Festival Questions

What about the 2020 Go for the Gold Pin Raffle? Will that still Happening?

In short, yes. We are still working out the details. Once we have more information it will be posted here and sent out via email.

And the 2020 Print? Will you still be doing that?

Yes.We will have a 2020 Print. Please stay tuned for more information on how the winners will be announced and when you can purchase yours to help support this scholarship program.
