Additional specialty awards will also be given away after the race in the following categories:

* Directors Favorite * Nuttiest Award

All participants must be aware that safety is the first and most important concern. The safety of the participants and crowd will take precedence over all other matters.

Following the awards to the winning beds, the beds are to be removed from the racecourse by exiting the course at the intersection of Front and Cass Streets where they can be picked up.

Both first place beds for speed and design and their participants and any specialty winners should be prepared to be in the Touchstone Energy Junior Royale Parade immediately following the Bed Races. Please check with the Bed Race Director before leaving racecourse for parade position.
