National Cherry Queen Application Process

Please contact the National Cherry Festival office at 231-947-4230 to have an application packet sent to you, or download the PDF version below. Eligibility requirements are listed on the Queen Candidate Contract.

To be considered as a 2008-09 Queen Candidate, we must receive:

1. Completed application
2. Signed Candidate Contract
3. Bio sheet in outline or resume form (one side of one sheet please)
4. Sponsorship form along with $500 sponsorship fee
5. 10 Candidate photos which meet our criteria: 2X3 size; Color or Black & White; NO crown, title banner, or bathing suit; all of the same pose; and each labeled with your name, sponsor(s), and hometown.

Firm deadline date of April 25, 2008. Applications received after the deadline date, or after the maximum number of candidates has been reached, may not be considered.
