Team Challenge – NEW!

Show your spirit for running and team work and be part of the Festival Runs Team Challenge.
Each team is evaluated on their top 5 runners for both the 15K and 5K. The team with the fastest cumulative time will keep a traveling trophy for a year.
• Get your friends to run – there is no limit!
• Assign a captain who will be responsible for making sure all team members complete the registration process and submitting all of the required information accurately before the race and on time.
• Have each member of the team complete their individual race registration according to the guidelines and deadlines with payment.

Conquer McKinley - NEW!

It's a race to the top! The first male and female to make it up McKinley Hill will each be outfitted with Brooks Running gear!

Chronotrack B-Tag Timing – “B” is for BIB, don’t crinkle it!

The Meijer Festival of Races 5K and 15K, working with Classic Race Management, will again use disposable tags to time participants’races. We will have mats at the starting line and at the finish, enabling us to give every runner a net time. The net time is the time it takes to run from the actual starting line to the finish.

The B-tags, pre-attached to your bib (don’t crinkle or fold)!, are disposable, so you can dispose of them in trash bins that will be set up after the finish line or you can keep it as a souvenir! These chips can only be worn in this race. They will not work for any other race. If you wear the chip again in another race, you will not be timed.

Chip Technology

The radio frequency- based technology enables runners to receive an exact select time as you cross the finish line. This technology ensures accurate timing and will speed up the results process For more information about the b-tag, go to the Chronotrack link.

Results

Results will be posted on the 5/3 Bank building at the finish line on the Northwest corner of Front St. In addition, Running Fit will have a master copy of races results, and they will be posted online immediately at Classic Race Management’s website and the National Cherry Festival’s website.
