The National Writers Series, founded by Traverse City native and New York Times bestselling author Doug Stanton, is a year round book festival benefiting high school students through the National Writers Series Scholarship program. The NWS has hosted acclaimed authors including Tom Brokaw, Mary Karr, and Mitch Albom. Ticket news for this new special event will be released soon! Event tickets will include the Pure Michigan Picnic along with a prelude of music.
