Mr. Cherry
Biography:
On July 7, 2004 Mr. Cherry fell from a giant cherry tree at a cherry farm in Northern Michigan. He grew up in the orchards with all of his ruby-red colored friends and quickly learned that he was the sweetest fruit as he was the main cherry in the “Hidden Cherries” book by Mackinac Island press. A bright, fresh smile blushed his round face when the National Cherry Festival and his Community adopted him to become the official mascot of the National Cherry Festival. Since then, his lovely hearted pit has entertained thousands of cherry fans and he has made several appearances throughout the Northern Michigan area at public events, elementary schools, birthday parties and day care centers.
This year Mr. Cherry has made some new friends a KidzArt. Visit Kate at KidzArt to bring out your artistic side!
