Open Director and Assistant Director Positions

Event Director positions available:

 

Greeters Co-Director

Are you outgoing and love to meet new people? If so, then this Event Director position is for you. Our Current Greeters Event Director is looking for an enthusiastic Co-Director to greet Festival-goers as they arrive at the Festival Open Space. Duties include overseeing and helping procure volunteers to greet Festival-goers, hand out informational items, maps, brochures, etc… Time commitment is attendance at monthly Event Director Meetings the second Tuesday of the month beginning February 2012 through August, and 1-2 hours a week as the Festival approaches. Festival week time commitment would be over the 8 days - Saturday July 7th to Saturday 14th.

Sand Sculpture Director (Adult and Children's)

Assistant Director positions available: 

• Brat Tent (1 position available)
• Cherry Idol (1 position available)


All Assistant Directors will help assist the Event Director, in the various above events, in planning, organizing, managing volunteers, and registration (if applicable,) and the overall smooth running of the event. Time commitment is attendance at monthly Event Director Meetings the second Tuesday of the month beginning February 2012 through August, and approximately 1-2 hours a week as the Festival approaches. Festival week time commitment would be over the 8 days - Saturday July 7th to Saturday 14th, and Sunday, July 15th.
