Race Booster Program
The Meijer Festival of Races announces a new Race Booster program which enables area civic and charitable organizations to earn financial support through in the 38th annual foot races.
Not for profit civic, service, or charitable organizations assist the Festival of Races events coordinator in various race functions such as runner water stations, course set-up, finish line set-up, finish line food distribution, registration, and more. The National Cherry Festival races are one of the nation’s longest standing races, known nation-wide for their quality and for the unique National Cherry Festival parade route finish.
The Race Booster Program is an effort by the Festival of Races to donate financial resources back to the community.
The booster team program aims to:
1. Provide a means whereby the National Cherry Festival can donate financial resources back to the community through contributions to various civic and charitable organizations.
2. Provide additional sponsorship opportunities for businesses seeking to associate with the world of recreational road racing.
3. Increase community awareness of the long-standing races, and to emphasize that running is an enjoyable family recreational family activity for people of all ages and abilities.
National Cherry Festival Contribution:
A contribution ranging from $100 - $250 will be made to the various assigned organizations, or to their eligible charitable designees after the event.
