National Cherry Festival Takes Flight over West Grand Traverse Bay Again in 2010

Join us for the 84th National Cherry Festival Air Show, sponsored by Cherry Capital Airport, Northern Michigan Toyota Dealers, Sam's Club, and Charter Communications on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4 for an exciting airshow, featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators. It will include graceful aerobatic maneuvers of the four-plane Diamond Formation, in concert with the fast-paced, high-performance maneuvers of its two Solo Pilots. Finally, the team will illustrate the pinnacle of precision flying, performing maneuvers locked as a unit in the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation – all over West Grand Traverse Bay opening weekend July 3 & 4! A not to be missed weekend performance!
