Pets at the Festival

The Festival has received a few questions asking if dogs are welcome at any Festival events.

Dogs are not allowed in the Open Space Park during Festival week. However, dogs are allowed in the Open Space Park at any other time of the year.

Certainly, dogs are welcome at Tuesday's Pet Show! Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Sponsored by Big Boy Restaurants. One of the most popular children's events with registration from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Entries are open to "Live" pets, and categories include best dressed, pet and owner look-alike, fat cat, most unusual pet, ugliest mutt, and famous pairs. F&M Park at Railroad and Washington Streets.
